The Zoo Spooktacular

If you look really close to the wallaby's stomach, you can see a tail sticking out. That was all we got to see of her baby.

The zoo had trick or treating event for the kids, which was a great idea. There were stations of candy all over the zoo. They had a pirate theme going, so Shane got to walk the plank into a big box of shredded paper. The giraffe was being very difficult when it came to taking pictures. At the very end she gave me one good one. Since Alyssa was the only giraffe at the zoo, once she left everyone else missed out.

Browndale Farms

Eventhough Shane went with his class to a farm. We went to a local farm that had a lot more activites. The kids go to do a corn maze, hay maze, train pulled by the lawnmower, a corn pit and a zip line. The kids had a blast.

Shane's First Fieldtrip

Shane's first fieldtrip was of course, to the pumpkin patch. I think they all loved the bus ride the best, but who wouldn't. It had rained quite a bit before the trip so it was pretty muddy. The tractor took us to the pumpkin patch and had to go through a Huge puddle, well much bigger than a puddle. One kid thought he saw an alligator, so they spent their hayride looking for that alligator. Shane's teacher passed out their pumpkins, they were all so very proud. Then back on the bus, which was an easy task since everyone just wanted to be back on the bus.

Catching Flies

Daddy and Alyssa were out for the count, nothing was waking them up.

The Bearded Lady

Unknown to me, Alyssa decided to pour the entire bottle of shampoo into the tub. I guess she decided she didn't have enough bubbles.

Baseball for Everyone

This was one of our last really warm days. We went to the batting cages and although daddy was the only one hitting, the kiddies just had to practice too.

Sioux City

We went to sioux city for our little four day weekend to visit Shane's best friend Harold and his girlfriend. We got to go to a Renaissance Festival (thank you Harold). The kids had a blast, they got to see jousting, lots of costumes and some really good fireworks. Too bad the weekend was so short. I had trouble downloading pictures, but there was a good one of Shane and Harold throwing tomatoes at the guy in the bullseye. Don't worry they both missed by a mile. If they could they would have spent all their money throwing tomatoes.

New Friends

These are our neighbors and new friends. At the top is Ryan, Alyssa, Ethan and Shane. We took the kids to the homecoming parade.

WOW

I was looking something up for noah on the computer and Alyssa went downstairs. I went to get her and she almost gave me a heart attack. I guess she takes after her daddy, they can both sleep anywhere!!!

Oatmeal Issues

Alyssa loves to wear her food. I think she thinks mom doesn't have enough to do.
