Sioux Falls

We got a chance to go to Sioux Falls, SD and get together with friends. The first couple of pictures Shane took, if you couldn't tell. The kids had a lot of fun swimming and we all got to go to a Hockey game. We all had a really fun weekend.

NANA'S BACKYARD



We spent Christmas in NJ visiting my mom and Noah. The kids were very excited because Nana had about a foot of snow. We got to do a ton of things so we needed a vacation from our vacation. We spent a lot of time in New York and got to do all the tourist things. We saw the Museum of Natural History which is the picture with the tree made entirely out of Origami and there is a picture of Shane and Shaneboy in Time Square. There is also a picture of the famous Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. It was so packed we had the children strapped to us. We all had an exciting time. Alyssa also spent her Third Birthday eating Cold Stone Creamery Birthday cake, yummy!!!

SNOWBALL FIGHT

After having a little bit of snow, it was time for the snowball fight. Which I luckily got out of, to take pictures. It is always a favorite with the kiddies.

Our First Snowfall

Our first snowfall and yea I didn't have to shovel. It is so nice to have someone to do it for me. I shoveled all last winter and was tired of the snow. I think this was Shane's first shovel in forever. When you live in Hawaii for a long time and then go through a very warm deployment, getting used to -7 degrees, is not easy. Thank goodness Shane is a trooper.

Happy Early Birthday

My friend and I decided to have a combined birthday, since both kids birthdays were in December. We went to Gymnastics Plus, where the kids got to run around and have a great time. Alyssa always wants to dress up like a princess so I made my princess a princess cake. Alyssa got so excited she got to blow her candles out twice. She blew them out the first time before daddy even had set her cake down.

Shane's Homecoming

We are so happy to have Shane home. After many delays and even walking into the ceremony and having it delayed by 2 hours, was painstaking. But after all of the waiting, we were finally at our final day. The whole year you wait for that day, so it is nice to know we made it. By the way the very last picture is of Shane and his Team Leader.
